It is likely that I am just upset that it’s not a TiVo remote, but I really think this remote has some incredible design flaws.

Just looking at that remote gives me a headache! Why must they be so busy and complicated, right? Maybe you could send them a copy of this to their Customer Services. 🙂

We just got ours on Friday. I realized I can use our universal remote that was programmed for our previous Comcast DVR for almost ALL commands, including a 30 second skip forward and 15 second skip backward. Score!

I don’t know why this post doesn’t have a million hits. Just got FIOS and I can’t believe customers put up with this remote.
I became a cable cutter, and I can put the reasoning squarely with Verizon.
