Decorative classic stormtrooper mask by John LeMasney via 365sketches.org #cc #design #art

So, yet again, my 70’s upbringing betrays me in today’s sketch. I started with a simple head-on image of a classic stormtrooper mask from Star Wars: A New Hope, and began to paint into it with various floral and urban brushes, varying in size throughout. It’s certainly something I’ve seen others do, and thought to myself, “I’d like to try that”.
