So I had a phone call today, then a bit later I had today’s sketch. I think less of her now.

The “punch line” is fantastic. I want to post this in the library. I wonder if they’ll let me.
I bet they will, Paul. I have a lot of understanding friends in the library world. 🙂
i love it… maybe you could add something about being in the bathroom also, sheesh! some people’s children, i swear!
Cuz, this woman was at work at the time, so I’m very glad there were no bathroom sounds. :O
no joke. i had a boss who would call me (during work hours) from the bathroom (tinkle, tinkle, tinkle, toilet paper rip, water from a faucet sounds) and on more than one occasion while i was in the office crashing on a ridiculous deadline… from the bathtub. it is very irritating to be working late and hearing someone (a boss / teammate / customer) luxuriating in a bath!
sorry, probably TMI, but i had to get it off my chest.
SO sad to hear that, cuz. I almost felt like it was their way of saying to me: “I don’t care enough about you to pause my grazing.” Also, I know she wouldn’t have done it with the President of the university on the line. So now, all I can think of when I talk to her is “thoughtless slob.”
