This is an olive branch, which in certain religions represents a peace-offering, but I like to think that has become somewhat universally recognized as such. It’s a simple execution in Inkscape — I used the pencil tool set to shape: triangle in to create the branch, and set to shape: ellipse I used it to create the leaves. So, if nothing else, I hope you find some peace today. I just began a two-week vacation on Monday, and so far it’s been quite peaceful. 🙂

That’s a good effect. Never used the pencil tool like that before, will give it a go!
By the way, what are you going to do when you’ve finished sketch number 365? Start again? Making the site must be a good way to have to discover new things about Inkscape, as well as to encourage others to use it, I guess.
Thanks, @veryrobert! I’m planning to continue on next year with another open source application, likely the GNU Image Manipulation Program. It’s an amazing way to leanr the finest details of the various effects, tools, and features of the application. Inkscape has great depths to plumb, and I learn something new every day. I try very desperately to get others to use it with every sketch. Thanks for the nice visit and comment.
