Some of you may have seen me in person lately, but I can;t say the same of you. I’ve been diagnosed with rare pre-40 cataracts in both eyes that are slowly forming, but quickly making it hard to read. Surgery is outpatient and in my future, but the cataract needs to get to a certain point of opacity before it makes sense to operate. So, if you thought I was ignoring you, I wasn’t. I just didn’t recognize you through the cloudy formation in my eyes. So, for the first time in my life, I’m wearing glasses, which help but do not eliminate the problem. I like the glasses, but I hate the cataracts.
