Shark overhead silhouette by John LeMasney via lemasney.com
This was a shark drawn from memory using the Bezier tool. I saw a photo of a diver shot in silhouette in exactly the same way, and it looked great, so I decided to emulate the look with a shark. Fun stuff.
This is very cool. I love the glow effect. WHen you say Bezier tool, I remember that from Illustrator, but does that mean you used the stylus to connect the dots?
Hi, Paul & thanks. No, when I’m talking about the Bezier tool, I’m talking about Inkscape’s ‘pen like’ tool, where you can plot out points one by one with lines and curves (Bezier paths) in between, but I did not use a stylus for this particular sketch. Thanks for asking!
