In this video, I discuss one of my own most useful benefits of logging my food to an online database, MyFitnessPal.com. I’m able to see at a glance my most eaten foods in context of all meals, breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, and evening snack. As a result, I can see the foods that have contributed to my success in losing weight, and will contribute to my future success in maintaining weight and nutrition. I include the list below, but I explain the items as they relate to my eating in the video.
Extra points for combinations: Naan, plus fresh sliced tomatoes, fresh Ciliegine mozzarella, and a bit of leaf basil, salt and pepper makes for a delicious treat. This list should make for a good grocery list if you are looking to lose or maintain weight, a good meal planning list, and a good way of seeing why I believe that I have a very reasonable nutritional outlook. My philosophy is much like Michael Pollan‘s: Eat real food, mostly plants, move more. Being fit does not require pain, but it does need a plan, knowledge, and patience.

People says I’m weird because I eat grapes without removing the seeds. 😀 (I’m too lazy to do so)
I love pizza! I got some seeded grapes recently, and crunched through enough of them to know I prefer the seedless ones. 🙂
