So today, I continued using the 3d box tool if only to become more familiar with it. I started playing with the parallel toggles and found that you can choose to have classical perspective or isometric perspective according to the toggles. So I decided to make a pattern, a continuous wall of blocks like Q-Bert battled on top of. Then, I envisioned someone trying to climb up them, and thought “what an incredible task!” So I found some images of people climbing as source material, and using the calligraphy tool, sketched out a climber. I gave her a shadow, and called it done. It is a great personal metaphor for the struggle and potential accomplishment of some recent and upcoming projects. Hope you like it.
