Part 3 – Monday, June 25, 6:30 – 8:30 PM -Exploring Prezi & Google Docs Presentations

Learn how to incorporate design elements to create captivating, memorable, and effective slide presentations. In this three-part series, technology instructor John LeMasney will cover a variety of presentation tools and techniques, including images, colors, fonts, readability, and movement. Skill Level: Intermediate.

In June and July of 2011, I presented a series of six workshops on the open source photomanipulation application called the GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) at Princeton Public Library. In the series, inspired by one of the attendees, I decided to focus on emotion and color in design. Below are the presentation framework, the source and project files, fonts, brushes, etc.

June 1st, 2011: For a few months leading up to June, 2011, I was part of a team that came together to produce a TEDx event under the TEDxPrincetonLibrary brand. I was responsible for the web presence, graphic design and branding, and other technology related tasks. On the day, I was mostly responsible for setting up the stage for each speaker.
