Photos of a fun day of cooking

Today I spent about an hour doing one of favorite activities: cooking. I had a delicious egg sandwich with a side of fresh-cut pan-fried frites for brunch for just about 300 calories, and a very tasty pizza with fresh dough, shredded mozzarella, caramelized onions, and diced tomatoes (3 of the mini pies you see for 600 calories). Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!

About 600 calories for a Jamaican patty, yams and Scandinavian mixed veg. Yum!

A fun day of eating.

Today I had a great veggie and fruit lunch at Frist that was inexpensive, lovely, and tasty.  Spinach, carrots, mac and cheese, and zucchini.

Then, for dinner, I had a pizza with sliced mozzarella on top, with French pressed coffee.

Lettuce and tomato on flatbread with hummus. I’ve decided that any time in the future that I might use mayonnaise, I’ll use hummus instead. 1 Tbsp hummus = 30 calories and 3g of fat  while 1 Tbsp Mayo = 60 calories and 4.9 grams of fat.
