Day 135: A Cake lyric #Inkscape
A lyric from the Cake song Satan is my motor.
This is Saturday’s post. So I made this mockup to demonstrate how I think that the Glyphs dialog could be improved in Inkscape. I added it to the blueprint thread on the Inkscape development forum. This is why Open Source is better.
This sketch illustrates the first lyric in the Queens of the Stone Age song No one knows from Songs for the Deaf.

Day 132: Hamilton, NJ #Inkscape
This was a late revision (the final is slightly different) in a recent project where I had the privilege of helping to design and produce a trade show banner set for Hamilton Township. I used Inkscape to gather, layout, and design the panels according to client specifications, and then brought them into SketchUp to help the clients visualize what the product would look like. Thanks to Hamilton Township for a fun and challenging project!
