This is very cool, John. I love “found” art like this (although you actually went looking for it). But the juxtaposition is great. And what’s even cooler is that when it’s reduced to a thumbnail it looks even more like a skull and crossbones (it’s pointillism!).
Thanks, Paul! Yeah the original skull-and-crossbones was kind of loose, so I’m afraid the effect is a little loose too. Not to mention I can;t defend why recycling would be harmful. ๐
I tried. I was thinking that recycling puts us into a state of denial about our effectiveness in sustainability, because recycling is done so poorly in this country, but I didn’t get very far.
