Sometimes we do what we want instead of what we should. Sometimes we even deeply enjoy it. I do it, you do it, and the best we can do is to remember and improve from it. We can possibly even savor the experience as a memory and a learning experience, recall it from time to time, and maybe even smile a bit in recalling it. That’s humanity for you. I’d probably say I’m more devilish than divine in this respect, but maybe I’ll learn someday.
To err is human, to repent divine, to persist, devilish.
Benjamin Franklin.

I’d agree that it is an excellent quote to live by and typo-graphed wonderfully well.
How did you get the background effect on the text? Write it all in black and then filling it with the pattern one line at a time?
Or is there a better way to do it?

Thanks, Utkarsh! First I added the text with the text tool, then using that text layer, I converted the text to a selection, then finally, using an extended palette that had these colors, I painted into the selection with a paintbrush, one line at a time, though it was all selected.
