This is a a very quick sketch of my cat Jimmy using the trackpad and Inkscape. It’s a lot more fun drawing with a Wacom, but this was kind of fun too.

John, I love this! I love the gray bar across the middle and how it looks so effortless and yet so right on.
I’ve always wanted to be able to “sketch” stuff loosely like this, but I always wind up fine tuning the dickens out of it.
Thanks so much, Paul! This was pretty much the style of most of my physical sketch work I did during my BFA. I’ve never been a very clean draftsman, but I love the scratchy quality of it. This was a very quick sketch, maybe one of my quickest in the series, and that always helps in quieting the editor instinct. 🙂
