20121103: a design for a book.<\/p><\/div>\n

This is the first of a set of posts in which I am experimenting with using grand concepts of design as a basis for sketches. In this case, the big idea is the book. Books carry a thematic idea through a series of pages, are portable, generally, and did so very much for the forward movement in learning, information distribution, and ideological archivism. I have my own feelings about its paper form and how it may not survive our movement to digital, socially, but for now, here is a small celebration of the idea.<\/p>\n
