\u201cMy 10 Favorite Free Graphics Applications\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ewing, NJ<\/strong>: \u00a0\u00a0Next Tuesday, April 6, John LeMasney, Manager of Technology Training at Rider University in\u00a0 Lawrenceville, will present \u201cMy 10 Favorite Free Graphics Applications\u201d at the Computer Learning Center\u2019s latest \u201cComputer Tips and Tricks\u201d program. This free program will take place in the Ewing Senior and Community Center, 999 Lower Ferry Road.\u00a0 It will be preceded by a question and answer session during which the audience can direct computer questions to the CLC\u2019s all-volunteer faculty.\u00a0 The CLC \u201cComputer Tips and Tricks\u201d programs are presented as a public service on the first Tuesday of each month.\u00a0 No prior registration is required.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u201cYou\u2019ll never go back to paying hundreds of dollars for name brand software after you see what you can do with these 10 free applications,\u201d says LeMasney. \u201cWhile I was personally raised on Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Corel DRAW!, they\u2019ve got nothing on these free and open source tools. I plan to demonstrate how to find great, free tools to design advertisements, posters, layouts, images, and logos, and I\u2019ll explore tools that allow you to work in photographic, three-dimensional, vector, bitmap modes.\u201d\u00a0 LeMasney will also discuss the rise in popularity of open source software and what he describes as \u201cthe free yet fantastic alternatives to commercial applications.\u201d<\/p>\n
