  1. Have trouble with your car.
  2. Have a friend stop by the grocery and pick you up some groceries. Ask them to pick up soup, fruit, and cough medicine.
  3. Have them pick you up to take you to your first client appointment of the day.
  4. Understand that your friend can not possibly drive you around all day, and resort to walking to each of your other appointments or using public transit where available.
  5. Underestimate the heat of the new spring day and the distance between meeting places, by miles.
  6. On your walk to meeting four, almost pass out.
  7. Come across the most beautiful park bench you have ever seen, a simple affair of wood and metal.
  8. Sit down, rest yourself, and sit for a moment. Re-catch your focus.
  9. Suddenly remember that there might be ready-to-eat food in bag two.
  10. Find orange, unwrap it, and bite into its red, seedless, juicy flesh until it’s gone. Walk on.
