I don’t think I’ll be traveling overseas anytime soon. I understand the reasoning behind it, but I think it is ludicrous to have to choose between being visually strip-searched and being groped. When the first post-scanner bomber successfully emerges, I wonder what dignities we’ll lose next? Also, how long until we start seeing the supposedly unkept images presented as “The top 10 hottest scanned babes ever!”? Some parts of the time we live in are amazingly wonderful, and others are just… amazing.

    I’m sure none of us are looking forward to the anal/vaginal cavity bomber to emerge. I’ve already made a mental decision not to fly until this invasive pat-down policy is revoked. I’m not having my wife and daughter fondled just to prove their innocence. Amtrack is starting to look like a great cross county travel option.
