Art Gallery

Art GalleryThe Library’s art collection, permanent and rotating, has become a popular feature and sets the Cherry Hill Public Library apart from other public buildings. The CHPL Art Gallery (located on the lower level) showcases artists from the amateur to those whose work is known worldwide. The gallery exhibit rotates monthly.  In addition to the gallery, other art is displayed throughout the building, many pieces on long-term or permanent loan. If you are interested in featuring your art in the Library, please contact Katie Hardesty at 856-903-1207 orkhardesty@chplnj.org.

Café

CafeOwned and operated by Aramark Food Service, the café is open during library hours and offers gourmet coffees, sandwiches and other snacks to library visitors.  The café has ample seating and an outdoor patio. Aramark, one of the world’s leading caterers, also provides catering services to groups that rent the library’s meeting rooms and can offer a variety of menus for your function.

Computers

CHPL is home to more than 90 public access computers, including a 20-seat computer lab and 8 laptops equipped with wireless technology. By using your library card or visitor pass, patrons can sign on a library computer for up to four hours at a time. To access a laptop, simply visit the computer lab, show a CHPL library card in good standing and driver’s license, and start using equipment anywhere inside the building.

Express PC

Even with more than 90 computers in the library, there are still times when patrons were waiting to get online! To best serve the public, we created three “Express PC” stations in the Main Reading Room of the Library. These computers are designated for visitors on the go who literally need to “hop online and hop off.” They are programmed to allow only 15 minutes of computer usage at a time.

Fax Machine

If you ever need to fax a document, come to the Library and use the public fax machine located in the Reference Department. The self-service fax machine accepts credit and debit cards only. Easy-to-follow directions, available on the fax machine and over the machine’s phone, make sending faxes simple and user friendly. When a fax reaches its destination, the machine prints a receipt confirming the fax’s status.
